JoeMcPhee (3899), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 9, 2005 12 oz bottle courtesy of Oakes. Hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Sweet malty aroma, loads of biscuit, cookie dough and medium crystal along with some earthy and citrusy hops. Flavour is also malty, cookie dough and biscuit, some honeyish flavours as well. A bit thinner and dryer than the body might have suggested. Very faint diacetyl. Good, if typical. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 11, 2005 Bright copper colour. Earthy hop, vienna malts and a spicy yeast make up the flavour profile. The aroma is mainly the yeast spiciness and straightforward bread/caramel malt character.
