3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pivnizub (7240) - Bochum, Porúří, - AUG 21, 2007
Bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized, slowly collapsing white head; grainy and sweet-malty nose with a distinctive aromatic hoppy touch; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied, solid malty base; sweet-bitter aromatic short finish. All in all a quite pleasant Bier.......
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 laiti (1714) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 25, 2012
50 cl bottle. Rated on 2.2.2010.
Bright yellow colour, head stays on glass edges. Aroma is stale and grainy with hay and hints of vegetables. Flavout is thin, somewhat malty and slightly bitter with hints of hay. Drinkable, but feels bulky.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maria (8593) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2010
It’s golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread and light butter. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of butter, butterscotch, bread, malt and light citrus in a slightly dry finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2007
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head, leaving some lace. Herbal hops and light sweet pale malt in good balance dominate the aroma, unfortunately with a metallic tinge. Light sweet, even lighter bitter flavour, light to medium body with a rather soft carbonation. Soft malty base, quite bland, malt-accented, light hoppy taste, the latter leaves traces of metal during the slim, vaguely balanced finish. Mediocre and disappointing compared to the good Kupferbier.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bronstein (175) - Göttingen, GERMANY - DEC 25, 2002
Pale yellow color, not really lasting but well looking head. Sweet and spicy aroma. Starts sweet, continues spicier with a bitter touch on the tongue, longer dry and slightly bitter finish which I didn’t really like. Aftertaste lasts also too long, is herbal and sometimes bitter. Crisp impression. Overall characteristics a bit lacking.
