Bottle. Golden, plentifull carbonation, white creamy foam. Heather-honey aroma. Sweet honey as a flavor base as well, aromatic and herbal hops, fruity finish. Relatively light body. Minerally finish. Landbierisch

Comes as Reisbach-Vils Vilstaler Hell. It’s hazy golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, new grain and light flower. The flavor has a light to moderate sweetness and the same notes as the aroma. The finish is slightly dry with a yeasty touch - nice!

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2010
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white layer. Sweet biscuity and grainy malty aroma with slightly citric hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly crispy carbonation. Pale malty and grainy, also slightly chalky taste with traces of honey and citrus; sweet-bitter malty finish with a light but rounded hops character. Quaffable. Helles. 14.XI.07

The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass not very zippy, creamy foam. Starts mild, modest sweet. Becomes more and more spicy. Finish light, well balanced. Good beer!

Bottle (delivered by joss!) Solid sweetish-grainy, bisquity nose with a touch of citrousy hops, smaller, but persistent foamy layer; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; moderate sweet-grainy finish with a light bitterness. A fine Helles.........
