3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl. Déçu, je n’ai pas retrouvé l’Angelus que je dégustais plusieurs années auparavant (75cl). Beaucoup plus maltée, plus d’amertume et moins fruitée que mes précédentes dégustations.

750ml bottle 11/1/14 (Courtesy Of TerryR)-40° in Tulip-Pours a hazy golden with a small loose white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, yeast, and a little funk. Taste of the same with some sweetness coming in. This light bodied brew is well balanced and darn tasty.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared with Bruce and Colin - picked up at Kasteelhof (I think). Pours clear gold with a moderate, white foam head. Sugary bread on the nose with hints of floral hops. Big sweet flavor with ripe orange and other citrus, heavy bread, faint floral and straw bitterness. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Mild warmth on the finish with some syrupy sweetness, more floral bitterness, hay, cereal. Simple and sweet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Keyaki 2014. Interesting pancake character, apricot, jam, touch of pepper. A bit light overall but not too bad.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Classic French/Belgian yeast, but not of the fruity but of the cheesy kind. Pale but quality malts and a soft balancing hop. All about the yeast in aroma, but also in the taste where it dominates and creates spices oer the prickly carbonation and light malts. Towards the ending the hops get a much more dominant role and get out some crispness with a touch of heat. Classic but interesting and tasteful. I like it much better than the style and origin let me to belief! (75cl bottle from La cave à Bulles)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle nearly completely still, have a nice redish/golden colour.
To the nose, you can smell very little floral notes and mostly sugary/fruity notes. It is quite faint.
The taste is not amazing, yet not totally disapointing. It is light (as it was intended), slightly hoppy and floral but altogether too faint for an IPA lover like myself.
Not amazing, not disapointing. Could be improved I guess, but it is better than most of the beer you can find in France (let’s hope they follow the path of micro-breweries like the USA or Canada !)

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from a French supermarket. Golden with a white head. Served slightly over warm due to camping, but this was pretty disappointing anyway. Tastes like a strong lager with spicy notes along with a hint of soap and evident alcohol. Not great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 03/08/14. A blonde beer with a white head and lace. Quite sweet and perfumed although highly hopped. Herbal notes too. The hops and the weird sweetness are an interesting combination and not entirely unpleasant. Has a decent body too. It’s fine.
