An interpretation Biere de Garde made with 30% wheat.

Bottle at the Gauze. Nice malty ale. Aromas of citrus, caramel, honey, hints of grain. Taste is sweet, with light sour notes, long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, with a thin head.

Bottle. Aroma is fruity and flovery. Taste is quote sweet. Full mouthfeel, some hop on the background. Akward sweet aftertaste. Alcohol is very well hidden. Quite drinkable and flavourful, yet quite close to a cider.

Bottle, 75 cl at hotel balcony, Paris. Spicy, sweet, citrussy, slightly farty, wheaty, grainy, light light hoppy. Complex yet rustic. Craftmanship. Works well on a hot day, but not a beer that I would consider buying again.

33cl bottle. 2013-10. From a friend. Poured a pale golden colour with a minimal white head. Small amount of carbonation. Aroma is fruity with notes of apples and pears as well as wheat. Some faint hints of spices. Flavour is subtle. Mostly pears, some apples. Hints of wheat and spices as well as bananas. Carbonation is subtle. A nice and refreshing beer.

75cl bottle. Light golden with small white head. We can see the bubbles. Nose : strong fruity notes like apple, pear, peach. Some cooked cherries and caramel. Fruity tart. Sip : well carbonated, oily and creamy texture. Light body. Sweet and fruity. Esters are tasty and apart fruity flavors it develops straw flavors. It leaves sweet and lightly sour aftertaste. Overall it is a bot too sweet for my taste.
