Bottle. Big head upon pouring. Some hops and a bitter presence that doesn’t dominate. Amazing amount of body for a 3.9-had to check the label to confirm the strength. Yet another impressive bottle from a micro. The standard has improved so much-long may it continue.

Cask handpull (as ’Bridge 61’), Bridge 61, Foxton Locks, Leics. Dusky amber, slim mushroom head. Clean hop, malt and mineral aroma; hints of orange, grass, biscuit and caramel. Soft and honeyed with cherry, lemon and aniseed hints. Cashew finish. Tasty.

Cask, handpump at The Nut Tree, Murcott, Oxon 10-01-10 Pours light amber with white head. Easy drinking beer that lacks in both bitterness and also flavour, its not a bad beer by any stretch it’s just a touch thin and insubstantial. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask at Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Amber with a small white head. Sweet spicy aroma, perhaps lychee. Malty taste with slight sourness and dustiness. Some bitterness. Unusual and interesting.

Bottle. Pours light amber with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Very drinkable but not much to get excited over. Hoppy aroma with a sweeter-than-expected, hay flavour.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Black Horse Walcote. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is on the malty side. Some straw in the light and easy taste. Very much a session bitter which goes down very easily.

Cask@Leicester Beer Festival. Very light looking beer with a very light aroma and a good pale beer and slightly watery hopped flavour. Overall an OK beer.
