Cask, Hinckley Fest 09. Amber brown with a small head. Aromas are fruity with weetabix. Earthy in its hops. Flavours are soft berries with sweet toffee. Quite yeasty with an earthy, dry, hoppy finish. OK.

The Black Horse, Walcote. Gently earthy strawberryish hops with buttery vanilla biscuit. Creamy and well-integrated at first sip, but fades as it warms. Some waxy berryish fruit. A bit mealy and watery. Clear reddish pint with a firm beige collar. Alright.

Cask conditioned - handpump - JDW Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is lightly fruity. The taste was on the malty side with berry fruit notes and possibly a hint of spice. A little damp card flavour also. Interesting and acceptable.

Had this at the Woolpack, Rothwell, Northants, 26-05-07. This was my last beer(s) of the day after attending the nearby Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke pub, so my recollection is a little sketchy. Poured a mid brown colour with small white head, tasted quite fruity, good maltiness and decent bitterness, not bad had a couple of pints. I remember this had a pumpclip image of a red double decker bus, hence the hop on name and also as I no doubt imagine it was quite hoppy but I cannot remember that much detail.
