COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(33 cl bottle from Casa Evaristo; Bbd: May 2014; Lot: 130522 DH) Pours a cloudy a golden with a huge off-white head. Bit of a gusher actually. Beautiful lacework even if the head dissipates leaving a film. Aroma is biscuit and citrus. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a dry and slightly bitter finish. Flavour has aroma notes and is mostly dry and slightly bitter. Quite drinkable and clean tasting.

Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy amber color ale with a large enough head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of dry grainy malt with light cereal notes is pleasant enough. Taste is also dominated by grainy notes with nice cereal notes and light dry bitter hops. Body is full enough for style with good carbonation. Not much complexity but nice presence of cereal notes and good drinkability level.

30ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Slightly hazy pale yellow with medium foamy and creamy head. Lots of lacings.
Aroma : Floral and fruity hops with some yeast and malt. Light wheat perhaps, light bananas. Light buttery notes. Fresh and slightly spicy.
Taste : Yeasty with malt. Floral hops with light spices and wheat. Quite malty finish with light bitterness.
Palate : Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Rather big bodied for a 5.5% beer.
Overall : Interesting beer. Nice hops with nice yeast. There is a light buttery note that is bugging me a bit.Nothing really special but a nice drink nonetheless.
