33cl bottle thanks to Lowenbrau. Light golden color with large head. Carbonation is medium to high. Aroma is quite hoppy but there’s some barley and spices in here. Taste is quite bitter. It’s a nice bitter!

The first beer perk of working for a Spanish company - a Spanish beer tasting that I wasn’t invited to participate in. Anyways, I’ll gladly lap up the leftovers.
Started with the LUG. A nice spicy flavor with a floral hop back ground but lots of malts prominent up front and the hops on the finish. Which is a great little balance. The beer is a little bitter, but they know that and were going for that.

29/11 0.33 l bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. It poured hazy amber body with medium sized head. Pleasant hop aroma was ruined by cornflakes and vegetables, typical low alcohol things. Flavor was lightly sweet, unpleasant notes were less felt but still present, while hop bitterness was stronger now, somehow managing to save the disaster. Thin body, shorter bitterish herbal finish. Although ruined by aroma, it was not really a bad beer, I see some Spanish micros are trying to make pleasant low alcohol, some obliviously did it very well, so there is no need for more of such useless brews.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a hop whallop for a 3.5 ABV. Super sessionable bitter ale. more bitter than the traditional British style. It’s hard to find a lo alc beer that tastes like something and this one is really really nice. Cloudy dark straw color, fluffy head. Don’t invert the bottle when you pour it or it gets murky with the yeast sediment. Aroma is a big bouquet of hops as is the flavor. The body is thin as you would expect from a 3.5% but the flavors are full, lingering and super refreshing. My new go to session beer.
