Taster @ PNA Summer Beer Taste 2012. I think I more disappointed due to high expectations rather than the actual quality of this beer (a judge I may never be!) This is supposed to be a blend of a sour and a pale but either the blend is off or there is something weird with the sour because it just doesn’t taste like how I expected. I suppose sour and bitter don’t play as well with each other as sour and sweet.

Apple cidery nose, some pale malt sweetness, a touch of vinegar and tartness. Weird. Pours golden, thin head. Flavors of apple cider light vinegar, pale malts, and a touch of hop bitterness. Extremely odd.
