3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Nearly black, dark cola hues, thin to moderate tannish head, foamy, little lacing.   Spritzy on the tongue, soft sweet roastiness, a little milky, but on the light side.   Very bubbley mouthfeel.   Aroma is light, pale roasted malts, very slight apple skin.   Comes across as somewhat of a thin and watery stout.   Light in flavor, really needs more body.   TIz okay, but too spritzy and too light.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bomber pours black in color with a 2 finger off-white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is light chocolate with some roasted grains and a hint of coffee. Taste is a mild chocolate malty sweetness with a light roasted grainy and mild coffee bitterness. Light to medium in body with mild carbonation. A tasty beer for the style, but a little thin on the body. With a little more beef this could be much better.

22 oz. from Chuckís @ $6.99. As a child I loathed raisins. I would get a small box of Sunmaid in my lunch box nearly every day and begrudgingly eat its contents. Upon first pour, this beer brought me back to those terrible shriveled up grapes in that musty cardboard box. It makes the rest difficult to swallow, though I soldier on, the roasted malts giving me strength.
