330ml can. When I first drove to Finland aged 22, I bought a crate of this stuff and although it was a touch sweet and unoriginal, it still tasted amazing to my young tastebuds, just because it was Finnish. Nowadays, it still tastes pretty boring but will always remind of those days.

Bottle at Vapiano, Helsinki. Poured a crystal clear medium to light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not quite so good as the Finn’s claim it is. They need to get out more. The barmaid told me it tasted better from the bottle but that was just wishful thinking from her side :-)

Appearance with golden color and low head. Weak malty aroma. Also malty flavor with little bitterness, a bit unbalanced. I did not like it.

Rune (7760) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 2, 2014
330ml can, thanks to djoeye. Airy white head slowly dissipating over a crystal clear golden coloured body. Modest aroma of grainy fruits. Taste of grain and sweet lemon. Distant bittersweet endnotes. Soft carbonated. Drinkable, and, in fact, better than expected (shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 25.06.2014).

Boks 0,33l. Spandert av Rune og delt under seanse på Nerstranda 25 Jun 14. Gyldengul. Middels høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av mais med innslag av malt. Myk munnfølelse. Maltsmak med en litt syrlig avslutning. Vassent helhetsinntrykk.

Pours a golden clear beer with a good white head. Smells malts, sweet. Tastes the same. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Heldere gouden kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, zoetig. Smaakt zoetig inspiratieloos.

12oz bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Your standard pale lager. Nothing special here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Backlog. Tried it bottled and on tap a number of times. Just your standard mass-produced lager, not as good as it’s main competitor Karhu if you ask me.

Bottle in a après-ski pub. Fresh aroma, apple, orange peel, hoppy. Pours clear blond, white fading head, light sparkling. Taste is apple, light bitter, a little bit grain, sweet, orange peal. Fruity rich finish, balanced bitter. This was a good finish of our skiweek. Got a bit off-tasting when it warmed...
