1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DeanF (1489) - Iqaluit, - SEP 11, 2010
I’m quite unsure why Paris’ première international grocer, La Grande Epicerie, chose to stock Finnish beer, but nonetheless I found it there in bottles. This one is marked as 5.2% alcohol, I’m assuming it’s the same recipe however. Pours with a bit of head, golden body. Aroma is of tin and alcohol. Taste is mostly syrupy corn, a hint of grain, alcohol. Carbonated finish. A forgettable macrobrew.

Pours light golden with a medium frothy head. Aroma hay, bread, light hops. Very low palate, a classic "large quantities easily" lager.

Draft @ hotel in Helsinki. Golden blond coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small white head. Almost buttery malty hinted aroma. Medium to full light creamy palate. Finish is sweet light grainy and malty hinted. Tastes better than it smells but overall a general pale lager. Nothing special.

33 cl can, BBE 09.06.2012. Thanks 0!
Aroma is sweetish and rather light with hay, some grain, bread and hints of grassy hops. Flavour starts with sweetish and somewhat grainy malt and finishes with starchy and somewhat sticky feeling with hints of metal. Better than I remembered but still bulky.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Leighton (4100) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2011
Bottle at The Pipeline, London. Typical pale lager. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a flimsy, white head. Sweet, light cereal on the nose. Flavor, too, is sweet, more cereal and modest grains, faint straw. Light in body with average carbonation. Crisp finish, more modest cereal and sugar. I actually really enjoyed this.
