2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits, Birmingham. Gold. Enjoyable malty aroma - dry and tasty. Full fuschia flavoured Lager. Accompanied by Sharon Horgan on TV, this is more palatable than it otherwise would be. Really it’s a bit plain: baked beans helles style flavours and some copper and clean malt. Clean - yes, refreshing - perhaps, average - certainly, Lager - deffo.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma is very skunky and permeating. Even at very low temperatures, this beer is well nigh undrinkable. Avoid like the plague.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pale golden colour with thin white head. Malty aroma with some sweetness and a slight bitterness. Malty flavor with some sourness, all in all a boring lager.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle - 33cl. Golden body topped with a thin bubbly head. Weak malty/hoppy aroma with strong and persistent skunky notes. Taste is mostly watery with light hoppy flavors. Ends with a short bitter finish. Horribly boring...

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From Bottle. I’m always doubtful about beers in clear bottles. It suggest there is nothing to protect from the light. This bottle was clear green, but the brew was less bland than I expected. The head was low and disappeared quicly, the body was pale yellow, but the taste had a bit more fullness than expected. A good average beer for all purposes.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light color with large head which is gone in a matter of seconds. Not a lot of aroma to speak of. Light hints of hops with malt taking over. Very sweet, a nice summer beer. Shout out to my parents for getting me this!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, DBF 2004. Gold, good white head and gentle condition. Low grassy hop notes in the nose, moderately malty sweet in the mouth but with some hope flavour creeping in and a sweet finish with a touch of lingering bitterness. Unoffensive and undemanding.
