3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Dark amber colour, lacy white head diminishes into thin film. Fresh, pleasantly hoppy nose has herbal and grassy notes and slight pepperiness. Light, chocolatey malt aroma with some roasted bread. Dryish and medium bitter taste, finishes a bit sweeter with caramelly and roasted notes and nice bitterness. Light body, slightly watery finish. Nice brew that would be even nicer with some additional malts.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 330ml (BB 03/2012)
Deep chestnut color, small off-white head. Nose is a bit harsh with toasted malts, hay, metal, coffee and brown sugar. Light to medium-bodied but watery palate. Coffeish, caramelly, lingering toastyness. Harsh bitterness in the aftertaste. Not too bad, stronger version could be quite ok.

Very uniteresting. Why call it Christmas beer if it does not taste anything more than ordinary..

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Dark ruby red beer with thin head.
Aroma is slightly caramel, metallic with too little hop aroma.
Taste has moderately lightly toasted malty a hint of hops, herb (at least something) and touch of chocolate.
Palate is rather thin, easy to drink.
Another dull beer from Hartwall, well I donít know why I was even expecting anything..

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
For once a good christmas beer from Hartwall. Itís not excellent but it is not as terribly neutral as many of these Finnish bulk xmas beer are. This one is slightly bitter with some roasted malts. This oneís got some character.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330 ml bottle. BBE 18.03.2012.
Pours a light brown colour with a white thick head. Aroma of slightly toasted malts with metallic notes and toffee. Flavour of slightly toasted malts, grassy hops and really unpleasant metals. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel and a somewhat bitter and malty finish. Just plain bad. Whatís up with the metals? Thatís not organic.
