Bottle, thanks to oh6gdx. Amber beer with à small beige head. Malty aroma, some chocolate, some metal. Bready flavor with some spices and some chocolate. Hop and roasted notes in the finish.

Aroma has some grainy malt and hints of herbs. Flavour is rather straightforward with grainy malt and some herbs. How did they manage to make an ale so close to a lager? The mild herb notes here must be the milfoil ( = siankärsämö) promised in the description.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, nuts, fruits and hops.

Bottle. Pours copper with a tight, large, beige head. Looks really good. Aroma is somewhat malty, grainy, some vegetable in there. Taste is much of the same, rather bland. Palate is good, properly carbonated but not too much, not watery. Disappointing. Wouldn’t want to drink this again.

5 Pleasantly grainy aroma, light grains, pretty bready.
3 Cloudy copper, good tight creamy rocky head.
5- Slightly soapy, a bit metallic too, barky bitterness. Packed full of grungy grains, certainly a bit too eco for me. Some herbal aspects, of the savoury variety.
2+ Full palate for a lager, that’s the unfiltered aspect, I’m sure. It’s not that it’s bad, I just don’t particularly like it. Bitterness hangs around, grunge in tow.
9 A bit unsophisticated. Shame - it looked like it deserved more points.

Bottle. Pours dark copper with a small head. Aroma slight berries and some vegetables. Not Bad.

From a 50 cl bottle imported from Finnland. Amber clear beer with a offwhite head. Fruity and malty aroma. A bit spicy malty flavour. A nice beer.

Better than regular Lapin Kulta, still definitely not worth its cost. Some hops and malt in addition to regular finnish lager.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2012 50 cl, bottled. Pours cloudy copper with a nice white head. Aroma: Malt, mild spiciness. Floral. Taste: Medium sweet, medium bitterness. Malt and yeast. Yarrow gives a nice spicy touch. Palate: Good balanced feel, appropriate carbonation. I liked it last year, and I still do. Pretty simple and enjoyable.

(Bottled, rated 2011-03-05) Slightly hazy copper with a small, partly lasting head. Mild aroma with some stuffiness, nutty-caramely malt, and some alcohol. Caramely, sweetish and lightly acidic flavor with stuffy maltiness. Almost medium body, medium CO2. A very cautiously brewed, slightly stuffy beer "for the Finnish taste".
