Hazy yellow, still lots of carbonation on this, some head, but it dies too quickly. Has an aroma of rotting oranges, lemony yeast, hops, slightly dry leather. Taste is a strong flavour of cabbage and then citrus, lettuce, rotting vegetables on the tongue. Okay mouthfeel. Very strange, like a vegetable beer and can’t say I’ve drank many of those. Unique.

Malt, caramel, cerals. The hops give more sourness than dryness, I’m not sure if this is really intended.

Appearance is a bit disappointing, but this beer is surprising. The first impression is great, the beer is strong and develops aromas of honey and almonds. But then the taste is weak and the carbonation too soft. Short finish. By the way, it remains a good and refreshing beer, tasting a bit like some Belgian Abbey beer.

Bottle from La Cave a Bulles.
Pours a deep, thick amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma is herbal honey and biscuit, with a touch of rosy hops. Flavor is sweet and floral raisin bread with a thin, flaky crepe-like bready finish. Average mouthfeel. Not too bad; at first this beer smelled like sewer but after letting it warm a bit, it’s quite good.

Bottle 330ml.
Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sour fruity, light to moderate hoppy, orange, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and sour milk with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100111]

Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy deep blond color. Fruity and yeasty aroma, probaby another uncontrolled fermentation, but at least not too bad. Sweetish malt flavor, with a light sourness, joined by light vegetables and yeast. Not professional, but drinkable.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, malt, and a bit of caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mouldy and citric. Milky too. Milky and fruity flavoured, vague roasted malty note. Milky and slight citric finish. Lasting roasted malt impression. Off.
