bottle from E.Leclerc Beaune. Hazy amber-brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, malty with caramel, dried fruit and berries, lingering finish with a touch of warming alcohol.

Purchased this from Casino supermarket 11.06.13, Beaune, France, drinking this sat outside ’Frank’ (camper) at Camping Les Cent Cignes Municipal, Beaune, France 11.06.13 Pours hazy brown but the light is dropping fast so I cannot be certain on colour, however there is a large off-white head. Fine but a bit middle of road, carbonation is once again very good, bitterness fine, its really not bad at all it just fails to excite. A7 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Towering, slowly collapsing, very dense light-beige head over veiled dark foxy-amber beer with fine carbonation. Malty, with melanoidins and present coriander; tad (brown) bready. Tad sourish on a bready mild-sweet malt underbuild, finish being leafy-dry. Well-bodied and quite slick, even tad sticky, carbonation alleviating. Slowly fading flavours. Quite decent brew, despite the infernal herb. Many thanks to Stef!
