Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours amber gold with a large, foamy off-white head. Malt aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. It is malt liquor, but it has an earthy maltiness I find appealing. The sickening grain aspect of many common malt liquors is rather covered by the almost toastiness. Not a great brew, but way better than the big cans of American glop.

#2 in a disgusting Larine beer tasting. Very fusely aroma. Lots of sweet plasticy esters and sweet apple/pear cider character. Sweet pale, slick and quite nasty. A bit of ethanol on the back of the palate. This is pretty damn crappy, even by malt liquor standards.

Bottle. Pours with a small fizzy white heead that fades over the clear golden body. Aroma of cereal, honey and alcohol burn. Taste is wet dog, alcohol burn, cardboard, corn, skunk and a clear metalic note in the aftertaste. Alcohol burn, fizzy and dry.

mmmbeer sent this funny bonus along. Plastic bottle. Aroma of honey and rotten fruit with some alcohol and stank malt liquor. Flavor is sweet and bad. Really strong alcohol, rotting fruit, nasty. Nasty. Nasty. did I mention nasty?

Plastic Bottle: Strong skunky malts and overpowering diesel fuel alcohols to pair with the funky finish and sweet overwhelming body. This really is that bad.

Pours from a plastic bottle- deep yellowish golden color with a fluffy white head which fades quickly. Aroma is thick sweet pilsner malts, cereal, artificial sweetness, stale crackers, light metallic, and some herbal and stale hops. Flavor is bready, ok pils malt, then turns to drying crackers, skunked hops, and a metallic aftertaste with some vegetables and a wierd astringency- and an overall fake sucralose sweetness all around. Not entirely horrible, but not good either.

Upon perusing the score of the brews, looks like this is the brewery gutter of Belgium. My past two experiences from this place have not been memorable (at least not in a good way). I continue. A weak escape of gas as I unscrew the plastic bottle cap. One pour, and I think I will save the remainder for later "enjoyment". Clear light golden color with a tall lasting, slightly rocky off-white head. Baked pretzels and some herbal hops back notes. Just an odd scent. A strange rotting fruit smell in the background as well. White grapes and grain flavors. Sweet malt liquid. Not catching a big alcohol flavor, but a woody flavor seems to suggest it’s presence. Actually not that bad for a low grade malt liquor. Lacks "good" flavors, but not that many bad flavors, if that makes any sense.

Oh yeah, a Belgian Malt Liquor in a twist off green plastic bottle. Bought at Tres Bonne Cuisine. Too bad I didn’t share this with Eric, but don’t worry I saved some. Pours a clear copper color with almost no head, some bubbles. The aroma is repulsive; hot alcohol, almost like a shot of everclear, some more interesting Belgian notes struggle through. The flavor is basically like a hot and dirty liquor, some over-ripe apples, dirty water. Hot as hell.

Smells somewhat like a malt liquor. Looks okay. First sip is okay and then this beer goes downhill quickly. Doesn’t taste goo at all. It’s has a sickly sweetness to it. Not good. Plastic bottle!
