Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is bready with some mildly spicey hop. Near medium body with foamy, but sharp, carbonation. Flavor is mildly bready with a fair amount of noble hop. Finishes fairly clean and decently bitter. Not too bad for the style.

A: pours a light golden ale with excellent clarity and flecks of yeast in suspension. Single finger white, loose foam falls to a thin quilt of the same. Cobweb lacing. S: Bread and butter. Somewhat sweet. No real hop presence. T: Again, bread and butter. Some sweetness in here, maybe even artificial. Again, no hop presence, but plenty of resonance. I like this beer. M: Light and high carbonation. Does not remain on the palate. O: I can’t really articulate why in many terms as you see, but I find this beer fun, simple, and enjoyable. I have had it many times, and continue to love it. Serving type: bottle 04-18-2011

Wow. Just....WOW! I am completely perplexed by this. Green plastic bottle (from a Belgian????) Sniffing the bottle I detected no skunk unlike other posters. But it smelled like fresh cut grass and Bisquick rolls. Very strange and not pleasant. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a dead white head. Almost no carbonation. Like lawn clippings soaked in alcohol. Good lord this is bizarre. It tastes more like Boris French Beer than anything from Belgium. Almost all Belgian brew is good, really good. But this is bad, REALLY bad!

Clear pour, metal / skunky aroma and taste with a splash of corn. and yeast. Ehh. I just thought all belgian beers tasted like Rochefort 10, guess I was wrong!

This may not be a fair rating. This came off the discount shelf of my local homebrew shop. May be extremely old. It was cloudy and had particulates. No head. Hard to drink out of plastic. Aroma of celery. But of course I finished it. Way sweet and not sour like a "Belgie" should be.

Decent smell, very cloudy orange appearance. A quite malty flavor but strange, a bit of Belgian wit feel. Very odd, but I think I really like this. A very good finish.

High hopes on this one. It is after all a "Premium Belgian Beer". How could it not be. Plastic screw-top bottle and all. Very pale straw yellow and a decent white persistant head that leaves nice stringy lacing. Light sweet light malts slightly papery aroma. Honey. Low on the bitering hops for ballance. Tart slightly dry aftertaste. A sweet pale lager. And by "sweet", I dont mean....SWEET !

Plastic Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a thin white head. The nose is metallic with some husky corn notes; lots of metal and very dirty malts. The flavor has a moderate body although with a corn and bad spent yeast note in the tail. Very rough, lots of off-flavors. Scary. Like bread on its way out.

Plastic Bottle. The taste is refreshing, light, and very enjoyable. This beer has a very good balance of malts and hops, a little more on the malts side, but still very good. The beer was enjoyable, a good depth of flavor with the belgian yeast strands and the great depth of balance in the flavor.

Pale golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly cidery with a touch of pale malt. Light bitterness with a bit of herbal character as well. Thin-bodied and quite cidery tasting with a plasticy bitterness. Man, this is like drinking garbage. Truly vile stuff.
