Canterbury Beer Festival, with SilkTork. Copper colour. Still slightly cloudy, but a very palatable drop. Fruity aroma and a dry palate with a nice balance of malt and hop. This brewery has been going for nearly 20 years and seems to have no ambition to expand beyond supplying their own single pub and a few other local outlets. Cask (gravity dispense)..

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2007 Cask at the rock, chiddingstone. Clear copper with a creamy white cap. Aroma is flowery, lots of EKG went into this one obviously. There are also some light toffee notes. Flavour follows the same line as the aroma, simple crystal/EKG combination giving some fruity, toffee, yeast flavours. It is a magnificently balanced bitter, but not overly complex. The brewery around the corner in a converted barn house is worth a look.
