(500ml can) Purchased at the BCLS in Oak Bay. Pours a large white foamy head with a mild amber body. Nose of mild sweet corn. Faint hops dance in the distance as a crisp yet light wateriness plays the front field. I found this beer very refreshing after a day of moving but won’t likely buy another can until I own property in Victoria and have a lawn to mow...

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Don’t get any nose. Starts sort of sweet mild hops come through near finish, can’t put a flavor on this one. Only bought it because it was a new country. $1.79 for a 330ml bottle from John’s Market Tigard, Or.

Thanks to Snjezana for bringing this back for me from Europe! Poured from the can a standard light golden color with a thin poofy head that diminished pretty rapidly. The mouthfeel is crisp and somewhat watery, with an upfront bitterness that turns smooth and finishes clean. Didn’t seem that fresh, but it was from a can and transported across the Atlantic. Overall a fine beer for a night of drinking, but it leaves a lot to be desired as a session beer.

Another slightly sweet pale lager from Europe. This one has some redeeming factors making it drinkable - just. Faint hop notes, it’s mostly adjunct driven though. Leaves a cloying taste on the tongue, that had me sneering without realising. The world would be a better place without beer like this.

Light yellow coloured with a small white head. Herby and hoppy-sweet aroma. Medium herby palate, sweet bitter finish. I thought it wasn’t that bad.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as very strong notes of metal, giving it a dryness.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 22, 2006
Golden colored, little vanishing white head. Sweet, mildly fruity aroma with some hops. Thin to medium bodied. Sweetness, fruits and mild hops in flavor, aftertaste lasts with mild dryness. Basic lager with medium carbonation.
