Hint of sage in the aroma. Sweetish, slightly herbal grainy flavor. medium bodied, somewhat perfumed. Not good.

Appearance is ok, medium yellow and clear, head is big, lasting and white. Aroma and flavor is like so many other lagers, not much bitterness, no hoppy notes. Only some faint sweetnes, that’s not very pleasent.

Bottled in home of my friend Vaske (Petrovaradin, Vojvodina). We had quite a few of them and they were getting better and better. Standard lager beer.

Bottle: Pale yellow, light white head and some lacing. Nose of sweet pale malt and rice, dough and sticky starchy sugar. The flavor is a bit chalky and light, some adjunct and charred hop shine through in the flavor. The finish is light, but it has some toasted malts here. Yum?

Mild, sweet, corn in the lightly metallic aroma. Clear golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes rapidly to a partial cover then ring. Sweetness in the flavour is offset by herbal and lightly spicy hop flavour with decent bitterness. Light body is just a bit watery with decent carbonation. Tumbler. Fridge temperature. Can (BB 20.12.06, BCLS at Commercial, Sep-06).

(500ml can) Purchased at the BCLS in Oak Bay. Pours a large white foamy head with a mild amber body. Nose of mild sweet corn. Faint hops dance in the distance as a crisp yet light wateriness plays the front field. I found this beer very refreshing after a day of moving but won’t likely buy another can until I own property in Victoria and have a lawn to mow...

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Don’t get any nose. Starts sort of sweet mild hops come through near finish, can’t put a flavor on this one. Only bought it because it was a new country. $1.79 for a 330ml bottle from John’s Market Tigard, Or.

Thanks to Snjezana for bringing this back for me from Europe! Poured from the can a standard light golden color with a thin poofy head that diminished pretty rapidly. The mouthfeel is crisp and somewhat watery, with an upfront bitterness that turns smooth and finishes clean. Didn’t seem that fresh, but it was from a can and transported across the Atlantic. Overall a fine beer for a night of drinking, but it leaves a lot to be desired as a session beer.
