2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from Tabor shop, Ljublajana. Thin looking, flat gold. Slightly lime aroma. Thin, warm malt in the flavour, with a sweet cereal body and a tinge, a small tinge of boiled sweet citrus. Average.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml can. Gold with a decent frothy head although only half an inch rather than the giant in the picture. Very carbonated with steady streams of tiny bubbles maintaining the head. Nice looking for the style. Aroma of salt, fish and cookies. Flavour seems to have a werid salty hop flavour. Has a bit of chewy malt. A bit rough but you could get used to it.

0.5 L tin, bbe Aug 06. Clear dark golden, good sparkling, weak head. Dry, bitter and yeasty aroma with some diacetyl, metal nad sulphur. Dry and bitter taste with some diacetyl and a hint of lightly acidic white wine. Solid palate, good fizziness.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(Canned) Clear, paleish golden with a minimal but lacy head. Mild, neutral-malty, cowdung-earthy and fishy, somewhat hoppy aroma. Buttery-grassy-hoppy, neutral-malty flavor with toffee notes. Somewhat aromatic-hoppy, slightly astringent finish. Light to medium-bodied, very carbonated palate. Hoppy enough to be classified as a pilsener. The style would be something between North-German and Czech. Quite smooth and drinkable, although a bit raw.

Dark golden. White head. Not much aroma or tast at all. Watery! Hints of hops and sweetnes.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly orange tinted. A little malty with a spicy hop finish. This is a decent Bohemian-style pilsner, certainly not a "pale lager"

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark gold with aroma of cooked peas. The scent also has a little bit of honey. The taste has some metallic carrots. There are also some flowery hop notes coming through. Surprisingly, this has some character. Fairly nice.

A bad beer. A beer brewn with no respect for the consumers or beer for a complete different market. ;-)

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Considering it’s mountainous country of origin, this one turned out to be quite a thirst quencher. Tasted from the bottle and poured into a stem glass. Crystal clear pale-gold body with a high amount of fine carbonation holding up a decent tight white head. Slightly earthy aroma with a lot of resinous spicy and grassy hops coming through, quite clean. Hops dominate the palate, grassy, sour and floral, very light in body and flavour with a short bitter quenching swallow and little length. A little grain became noticeable after I had downed half of it but everything remained tightly in the background. Passable light lager, nothing spectacular.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Somewhat yeasty, fruity aroma. Quite a dry taste with some hints of fruitiness and flowery hops. This beer was certainly interesting given that I expected it to be nothing more than a normal crappy international lager. Therefore a pleasant suprise, though if I´d compare it to pilsner or real premium lagers this will do not so well.
