3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Shrews629 (193) - Kentucky, USA - FEB 17, 2011
Mostly hazy, light orange/lemon-aide color. Some sediment floating about. White head that consisted of some very large bubbles. The head stuck around for a minute, but it was not overly large nor did it leave a tremendous amount of lacing. The aroma presented a grainy note mixed with hints of grass. Somewhat of a fresh "hay" smell also. Almost smells like freshly chopped corn silage. The taste brought forth the grainy flavors with some very small amounts of a citrus bitterness that gave it a slightly sweet and fruity undertone. Again, more of the hay flavoring. Not real bad, but nothing that knocks my socks off. Meduim/thin mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing. Smooth, but somewhat watery. Doesn’t cover the palate extremely well. This beer is mostly average to me. It is very easy to drink and would make for an ideal Summer brew due to its refreshing and thirst quenching qualities. I probably wouldn’t seek this out, but if it was available, I’d drink it.

From a can purchased at the COOP in Thusis, Switzerland. It poured a clear golden color with a good white head. Medium body and good clean pilsener mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the malts and the hops barley show. A very bland beer but nevertheless drinkable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Chickencoop (188) - California, USA - MAR 31, 2010
It pours golden with a little head, nothing special. The taste is a sweet bready brew. The mouthfeel was light allowing for this to be a very drinkable brew. I was not blown away with this beer, but if I had to choose to have a few Polish brew, than I would not be dissapointed.
