COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imajo kremasto peno in nizko stopnjo karbonizacije (Co2).

Bottle. Pours a very dark amber with no head at all. Aroma is sugary as all buggery. Candied fruit and sugar soap aroma. The flavour is candy, caramel, sugar and alcohol. Thin and watery in mouthfeel. Boozy finish. A liquid mess really.

Amber colour, small light brown head, flat carbonation. Smell of malted barley, dark bread, grass, brown sugar, caramel. Slightly bitter taste, sweety aftertaste. Watery structure, alcohol well hidden.

ALLOVATE (1719) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - NOV 9, 2011
Needed a good rousing on the pour managing only a very short lived tannish fluff. There is just a little fiery copper in its clear, chestnut brown body, the very fine intermittent carbonation is slow to release. Musty and dusty, gritty malt nose with hints of toffee praline, roasted almonds, Bovril and a well pronounced edge of fresh Pumpernickel. A sweet, nutty start, more Pumpernickel giving it a tang mid-palate and the rear yields a tannic grape-skin astringency. Alcohol is absent, a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it. Notes of damp cardboard and peanut-skin linger. It is slick, soapy and wishy washy, the body light, the carbonation only a prickle. Not altogether an enjoyable one. Pity, as the label’s quite impressive, even promising. (33cL, BB 20/07/11, Mane Liquor, Belmont)

Bottled at Grand Tasting at RBESG 2010. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is light.

Clear browny red body with short head. Caramel and toffee in the taste and the aroma, alcohol is not hot. Drinkable but nothing fancy.

12/03 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured clear light brown body with small tan head. Fine caramel and fruity aroma. Flavor was a letdown after. It was empty, only slightly caramel malty, with touch of cardboard. Alcohol is well hidden but it doesn’t help much in the overall impression as lacks a bit of everything. Of course, expected much more.

Bottle bought somewhere in Ljubljana, shared with heavy. Poured an amber-brown body with a small white head that went away relatively fast. Oily malty nose, slightly dusty and subdued. Weak malty taste. That’s it, some light papery sweetness, very well hidden alcohol, but really not much to it. Was damn glad when it came out, seeing that they were trying something new and my expectations were high. For almost nothing. Again, I applaud them for hiding the alcohol so well, but more, better taste would not have hurt.

Unusual slovenian beer, a litle stronger than classic ones, however it is more or less just a regular beer with some caramel and sweeter taste. Nothing special

30/08/2010 - 33cl @ Maribor Thanks to Ivana and Tom for the bottle

Pours a clear red brown beer, little head that disappears completely. Smells sweet, caramel and some dried fruits. MF is somewhat flat, but good medium body. Taste is malty with sugar and some nuts. Aftertaste has sugar and caramel. A bit too sweet, but a nice brew though.
