Laško Light is a pale beer, rich in taste, lower in alcohol and calories. A typical representative of European types of light beer, it represents a winning combination for all who restrain themselves from their favourite beverage due to the nature of their work, dedication to active sport, volatility of body weight. It can be enjoyed without moral hangover in a cold glass... or directly from the bottle. Easily! Formerly 2.7%

I suppose again this is the beer I drank. As Lasko Toceno on the menu, and the guy said it was the so called light one. Anyhow, drank this the first night in Ljubljana, and was for some reason one of the best beers I ever drank. Good tasting while cold, flowery, miraculous.

Beer no.13 of my Slovenian beerhunt.
0.5l bottle. Didn’t expect much. Nothing at all really. I really don’t like Zlatorog, or any of the Laško lagers, so... this pleasantly surprised me. Pale golden colour. Medium sized fluffy white head. Aroma of eggs (sulphur) and malt. The taste... lovely flovery hops with a nice but weak maltiness. Lemony hops in the aftertaste. Probably the best beer I’ve had with this low alcohol.

Bottled at Gostisce Jersin, Logatec. (as Laško Light, 3.0%). Clear pale golden, mid-sized head. Floral hop aroma. Dry with some black currant dextrose and worty malt. Very light bodied, but not thin. Only slightly bitter finish. Actually quite refreshing.

Pours a clear, pale golden color with a small white head that immediately disappears. Typical grainy and malty aroma are picked up by the nose. The taste is light, sweet at first, watery body until the end. Finishes with a slight bitterness. Nothing special. OK for a light beer I guess.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2013 Above average low alcohol beer. Not shy on hops level this beer is worth to try for low alcohol beer drinkers.

Blond with a medium creamy head. Taste and aroma is hop and yeast. The aroma has an odd flavour to it. I have had it in other beers from Lasko and it could be the kind of hop used. Short hoppy taste with a slightly bitter finish. An ok beer at this low ABV.

0.5l can, "K plus svijetlo lager pivo". Surprisingly big white head and heavy carbonation. Clear golden color. Aroma of corn, little skunky, but it is all really weak. Taste is like drinking water from old, rusty pipes. Not even that bad for low alcohol and low price beer.

Can shared by faroeviking. Poured pale yellow with a medium white head. Malty bit grainy aroma with a little hops in the background. Bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour is the same with a little more hops.

500ml can at ljubljana train station, called lasko light. super chilled, perhaps the coldest drink i found in all of italy and slovenia, so it was surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable but only because it basically tasted like chilled club soda. very mild sweet corn malt flavors, little to no hop presence, little to no bitterness. it’s club soda with alcohol. and it was cold. enjoyable but how do i give this a score? meh.

(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of cardboard, stale frying fat and raisins, quite earthy, with a hint of caramel. flavour is mostly the same, heavily oxidized, with heavy notes of raisins and green apple. watery body with average carbonation.
