Pale golden colour with white head. Cardboard aroma and flavour. Very short bitter flavour, disappears off the palate without a trace. The bottle and label promise more than this but ‘say la vie’.
Gpnterojd (133), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Nov 20, 2008 Bottle, 500ml. Aroma is bready with an almondy undertone. Something in the flavour reminds me of apple juice. The flavour is richer than I expected. Slightly roasty malts run into a crisp (almost soapy) bitterness. It leaves my throat warm. The aftertaste is simply what you’d expect of a pilsner. Tasty. The length of time since my last beer may have positively affected this rating. jjpm74 (3447), Connecticut, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle courtesy of boutip. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells skunky and grassy. Tastes of light spice and light malt. A step down from Budweiser. swooper (150), Kladno, Czech Republic Sep 24, 2008 cereal, floral, golden, clear, white foam, medium bitterness, light sweetness, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish, for balkan good beer Rune (1839), Tromsř, Norway Sep 5, 2008 330ml can. White foamy head resting for a while over a golden body. Mild malt-fruity aroma. Fruity flavour with noticeable herbal hops coming through. Oily and a bit metallic in the mouth, but smooth and more than just drinkable (Dubrovnik, 23.08.2008). Finn (1109), Tromsř, Norway Sep 2, 2008 Bottle 0,25l. Pale golden colored. A OK fluffy head. Sweet fruity and malty aroma. Flavor is surprisingly complex with malty, fruity and spicy hints. Pleasant fruity bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit too carbonated. Thanks to Rune for this one!
