UPDATED: MAR 22, 2009 On cask at the Lass O Gowrie, Manchester, April 2008. This is clearly still being made somewhere but I have no idea where. Rosebridge, who made some of the Lass O Gowrie beers for a while themselves went out of business in 2007 so this remains something of a mystery. Amber, thin white head. Dry malt with touches of earthy hop. Standard UK bitter.
PRE-RATE. Vintage rating. On cask (handpump) at the Lass O Gowrie. Its not my intention to put all my pre RB stuff onto the site but, where the brewery has recently closed and the beer was still made up to that point (I’m surprised they kept going as long as they did) I’ll add a few for posterity’s sake. Amber colour. Mellow. Soft malt. Some spicy notes, but not very bitter. Serviceable enough without generating too much excitement. (5/3/6/3/11)
