3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"this was the third brew of ten sampled, and really only one of two (the other being the ipa) that could be construed as a slight miss. The house malt was starting to get a little repetitive, and I was hoping for a little more hop character (or different malt flavor and aroma) from this darker, slightly stronger brew. It was ok, but pretty boring." 2.8
wild hop Rooptown: "This is kinda what i was hoping the base recipe would be like. Far hoppier, especially in the floral aroma. Can’t quite pinpoint the variety of locally grown hops here, but it definitely added to the base beer. Served on nitro, so smooth, though maybe not a big enough beer to pull it off." 3.2
