3rd December 2011 ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Pale gold beer, bubbly white head. Light pale malt with a trace of citrus. Dry finish. Just another pale malt dominated dull beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mile (1459) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 3, 2012
Can. Light golden, average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint citrus. Light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light fruitiness, faint citrus and yeast. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, light fruitiness and light citrus. OK lightly sweetish Belgian ale with light citrus aroma/flavor - nothing special though.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 8, 2012
(Canned, rated 2011-12-05) Very pale golden with a smallish, big-bubbly head. Lightly grassy hops in the slightly sour and corny-malty nose. Quite clean flavor with soft, neutral maltiness, light grassy aroma hops, touch of Belgian yeast, fruitiness. Very light body, but soft with lowish CO2. Not a floavor bomb, but surprisingly clean and easily drinkable. I expected worse.

Can 500ml. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].
Clear light to medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, vegetable, cereal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 Dermi (275) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2011
50 cl, canned. Pours clear yellow with a smooth white head. Aroma: Sweet malt, slightly citric fruits and bread. Hints of metal. Taste: Sweet, malty flavours - maybe slightly toasted flavour. Unfortunately distressingly hollow after all. Annoyingly metallic. Palate: Light, a bit watery but carbonation helps a little. Not that bad but very spiritless and metallic, and therefore probably won’t be buying it again.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Leighton (4100) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2011
Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. I can only assume the birthday boy brought this whale to share. Pours clear, pale yellow with a fine, white head. Some cardboard and pointed cereal in the aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with cereal doused with white sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat bland to finish, but yep, there’s more cereal. Done.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TBone (9433) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 4, 2011
Can 500ml (Prisma, BB 10/2012)
Clear golden color, medium-sized white head, some lace. Papery aroma with light citrus. Light bodied. Light papery flavor with some fruityness and citrus. Almost feel more like a lager than an ale. Watery palate. Harmless but boring.
