Cask at London Drinker 2014, red-amber with a thin head and a malty nose with a pine hop edge. Nice balanced of fruity nutty malt with fresh citrus and pine hoppiness, and a dry-bitter finish.

Cask, PoW, Hinckley, 11/01/14. Massive collared bronze. Wild sweet honeyed red berry and trifle aroma. Custard and red berries; some bile and trifle. Boating condition. Bostin’, even. Good sweet spongy, slightly smoky malt base. Intriguing.

McNeillR (1135) - SCOTLAND - JAN 20, 2014
Rusty amber, stale off white head. Odd cottony/clean nose - like fresh nappies. Neat bitterness with what I’m assuming is crunchy rye towards the middle. Soft and oiiy carbonation and a warm woody finish with sweet bitterness. Not horrendous, but not worth finishing the half over as that Pampers nose became more and more difficult to ignore.

Cask, Maltings, York

Bottle from the neat little store at Brockley’s Market. Pours hazy amber with a very sticky beige head. Nose is quite dark fruit forward - very much like sticky date and some floral hops. Taste has more hop focus, very floral and citric with nice dark fruit focus. Really pleasing stuff with loads of sticky toffee on the finish. I like it

Cask at Crown & Anchor, Brixton. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is woody, twig, earth, leather, caramel, cherry and cream soda. The taste is wood, leather, toasty, light bitterness, varnish, dried fruit and a touch of spice. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough.

Gravity pour at Beer Rebellion. Pours a hazy reddy brown without much of a head. Nice, fairly light aroma, some toffee, twigs, berries. Light body, very light carbonation. A touch watery. Some caramel, toast, decent citrusy bitter finish. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
