COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A delicious vanilla porter inspired by the melting pot that is America. Loosely based on an English porter but spiced up with whole vanilla beans from Mexico and Madagascar, itís a deep, rich brown with a mocha head and plenty of luscious vanilla notes in the nose. The flavors are sweet chocolates, spices and smooth cream with just a hint of hoppy bitterness and enough kick to know this is no ordinary porter.

I had this beer on tap at the brewery. All I can say is that I got an intense flavor and aroma of vanilla extract. It wasnít exactly balanced.

Vanilla is very vague here. Can't detect much. Light body for a porter. Thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Vanilla sweetness up front, with moderate roasted malts, sweet caramel malts, and a lingering vanilla finish. Pretty drinkable, but a touch too sweet.

On nitro: very good dark pour w/ a big tan head & great lacing. The aroma is full of vanilla notes. The taste is smooth w/ a vanilla undertone & still having a little bit of a porter bite! Good stuff!

Lots of coffee aroma... Very dark black gray. Fine tan foam. A bit astringency. Lots of dark roast. Medium high effervescence. Vanilla blended in well. Spirits flavors. Agave like.

Bottle from Best Damn Beer Shop. Pours black with an inch of khaki foam. slight vanilla note on the nose. Thereís some vanilla on the tongue but itís muted. as is the roasted malt. Canít say this is particularly bitter. Itís not bad. I just donít want to ever drink another.

Tap at Coin-Op in San Diego. Deep black pour, Wispy tan foam. Nose is coffee, creamer, big sugar, strawberry ice cream. Taste is slightly thin, lots of sugary strawberry ice cream, slick dairy palate. Tons of sugar. Pretty cloying after a few sips.
