robforbes (788), Bremerton, Washington, USA Aug 24, 2008 pour is a semi-clear, very carbonated, golden yellow with a very large white foamy head, okay lacing.
smell is faint, grain, hint of lemon, cereal, corn.
taste is sticky yet crisp, some corn, some malt, grain, touch of citrus, end is dry. AmEricanbrew (1137), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Aug 16, 2008 Clear gold with a huge frothy head. Vegetal, salty aroma is asparagus and cooked okra. Frothy expanding mouthfeel, the beer turned to foam the instant it hit my tongue... Flavor is pale malts with cooked vegetables. Bad bottle? i hope so scrizzz (537), kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 19, 2008 typical aroma and color like most lagers. good character and crisp finish but it lacks the zesty noble side i’m looking for. fair and balanced like fox news. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 20, 2008 From a 22-ounce bottle--thanks to Dave at By The Bottle in Vancouver, Washington--Poured a light straw-copper body with a small white top. Creamy, nutty, earthy, sweet body with some sweet rice presence. Not a big fan of the style, but one of the best representations to date. jjpm74 (3447), Connecticut, USA Apr 20, 2008 Bottle courtesy of SuzyGreenberg. Pours gold with a sustained white head. smells of toasted malt, caramel, touches of dough, some citrussy hints. Tastes of dry malr, some residual sweetness is still there, touches of bitterness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is semi sweet and crisp. Well done!
