Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a huge, frothy, white head. Good retention. Smells a lot like a spicy, sweet ginger ale (Vernors?) ... not a bad thing; not a good thing – just a thing. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Sweet, spicy and very tangy. Mildly sweet, herbal finish. Kudos to explosivebeer for shipping the bottle my way!

Bottle: Pours a copper beige color with a nice head and lacing. The nose is bright with ginger, ample medicinal notes and some spicy herbal notes. The flavor is intense too with a nice hoppy note, malty balance and tons of ginger and other herbs. Flavorful but balanced, not too thick or cloying on the palate. Nice.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity ginger aroma. Fruity malty and lot of ginger in the flavor. Sweetish malty ginger finish.

Wow, this smells like ginger root. Very strong aroma. The flavor is also very strong of ginger. A bit like ginger and cola together. I don’t like this. Don’t get any orange, just a buttload of ginger; way too much for me.

Taster provided by the brewery in Seattle, WA--Poured a light copper-golden body with a thin white head. Spicy, gritty, creamy aroma. Subtle ginger (if this is possible) flavor with a great balance of hops and malts. RIch, creamy, slick mouthfeel and delicious finish.
