22oz Bottle Pours out a dark brown topped with a cream tan head. Odd aroma of sour sugar and some malt. Tast is sweet with some fruit. A touch of bitter at the end. A nice brown.

Jul 12, 2008 Brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is roasty, caramel, hazelnut, toffee. Taste is a toffee, caramel, nuttiness, with light chocolate. Nice depth for a brown ale.

Jun 20, 2008 A very odd aroma that is stangly familiar but i just cant put my finger on what it is. Aight brown pur with an off white head and lace. A very bland flat flavor that just lacks any pizazzaz. No off flavors just nothing at all special about this beer. A tad thin and watery. A drinkable beer but nothing special at all.

Jun 19, 2008 Thanks to Brewdad for a crack at this. Poured a dark brown (duh). Nice malty sweet nose. Flavor is nutty, little bit of chocolate and some spice (pandan?). Fairly straight forward, but definitely one of the better brown ales I have had.

Jun 4, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark brown body with a small, wispy, off-white head.
Smell: Mild aroma of dark malts, chocolate, and discarded nut shells.
Taste: Dark malts rounded out by a sweet nutty character. A few well-placed drops of chocolate. Vague dark fruitiness. Lightly spicy, earthy bitterness. Then, it’s back to the nuts, baby! Sweetish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I’ve been waiting for so many long years for a pandan beer the hit the market, and Laughing Buddha really delivered!
