3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy copper under a sticky thin white head. Lovely nose with a bitter dose of piney and floral resins, with a sticky sweet note of papaya and a bunch of other tropical notes. Flavor is sticky with tropical fruity notes featuring papaya and grains of paradise, with a strong pine resin bitterness and some caramel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pours hazy gold with slight head, dissapates quickly. Aroma is nutty, floral, dank, bready. Taste is combination of those aromas. Hits the bitter notes pretty well. Nice full hop experience. I’d go back for more.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with a two finger rocky white head that fades slowly. Nose is lots of pine and floral hops with a faint background of honey and caramel. There is a a sufficient level of sweet malt and honey to provide a base for the massive pine and citrus bitterness to follow. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a long dry bitter finish with a very faint metallic tang at the end.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle pour. Pours a dark copper with a cloudy head. Strong floral hop aroma from a distance. Caramel, and malt flavor. A lot of it. Finishes with pine. Overall a pretty nutty flavor as well. I like this. Unique. Good stuff.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours copper and a bit hazy with a creamy off-white head that settles to a finger and laces wet. Like a Guiness head but white. Aroma is caramel malt and light peach and hop resin. Taste is very malt forward and quite active in the mouth. Strong bitter bomb that slams the door on the sweet citrus notes. Pine, grapefruit, did I say pine? More pine. Booze bitter hop vs fresh hop. Just OK.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, medium amber (SRM 13) body....nose is light floral, with hints of pine from the hops, cereal, with sweet tones from the malts, minimal esters....taste is lead by caramelized honey sweetness, light cereal tones, leading to a strong floral dominated, with hints of resin, moderate bitter finish.....mouth feel, medium body, mildly sticky, slight alcohol warmth, carbonation makes a moderate tingle and very light acid on the finish. The floral notes, almost rose like, are present in both aroma and flavor, and are balanced by mildly sweet malts. The bitterness, which lingers, is not the typical American hop type dominated by resin, and citrus peel. I would prefer more hop complexity, and would suggest a change in the hops to include a slightly stronger pine, resin note perhaps Simcoe, Centennial, Cascade in type. BJCP 8/3/15/5/7

On tap at national beer hall Calgary where I used to live before they had good beer. Resinous aroma nice lacing. Much sweeter than the regular laughing dog IPA. Still had that cheese aroma which at this point I'm assuming has something to do with national beer hall. Nice double IPA while listening to Rudy can't fail by the clash.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased a 22 oz. bottle from Carls Meat Market, Kittery, ME. Bright hazy gold, lasting head in a snifter. Aroma has a good amount of citrus, yeast and mild pine.
The flavor starts with light pine, hints of earth wood. The citrus comes in with a small amount of bready malts. The bitterness has a lingering harshness. I almost feel like the time in the bottle helped this brew. If this was draft it maybe overly bitter. Lasting pine and herbal feels like it has subsided, which is a positive thing. Medium body leaning on the lighter side. Good balance at this point.
Overall feeling: I normally do not buy bottled DIPA’s anymore. I prefer to just sample them fresh on draft. I was in the mood for big hops and this delivered and met my expectations. Nicely made.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle foamed over after I opened it and continued to foam over.
Very carbonated, poured over when I poured a little into a glass, had to wait a few minutes for it to settle, add a little more, wait and now I have about two-thirds of a glass. The aroma is hops and a smell of Belgian yeast. The color is cloudy yellow orange, the head mostly diminishing with good lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is light to medium, the texture creamy the carbonation very fizzy and the finish bitter. Hopefully this is a bad bottle, not impressed.
