3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Roger Wilco in Palmyra, NJ. Bottle conditioned. Pours amber with a slight haze and retentive off white head. Aroma of piney hops and honey. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of toffee malts countered by an assertive grapefruit bitterness. Dry and grassy finish with lingering grapefruit rind and hop resin. Not too shabby

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours out of the bottle a nice golden yellow/orange w/a little head that has a little lacing. It has a hop nose and maybe a little of the alcohol. It tastes of pine or spruce that is expected of an IPA and the hops and alcohol really come out. It is not what I would consider an Imperial IPA, it does have the high ABV, but not the tart and tang of a truely great IPA. It is not bad, I was just more hyped up for a taste bud antagonizing IPA. Cheers!

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle–pours a tight foamy off white head with some lacing and hazy gold color. Aroma is pine/lemon zest hops. Taste is bitter/raw-pine/resin/lemon zest hops, secondary light /medium malt-caramel. The malt can’t hold up to the hops bite though. Medium body. Good effervescence. Dry finish. Occasional. 3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Canals in Lawrenceville. Deep amber pour with a small light khaki head and very thin lacing. Aroma of pine resin and citrus trees. No surprises in the flavors with a never ending helping of hoppy citrus, toffee and light caramel. Nice, full texture and a pleasantly bitter finish. Not really a mega hop bomb but a very respectable IIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 z bomber from Spirits RB. Wasn’t expecting much so boy was I extra suprised when this one wasn’t just decent but really good. Wow what a lasting foamy, frothy bright white head sitting atop a slightly hazed orange marmelade colored body, perfect score there. Aroma starts off with tons and tons of citrusy hops, grapefruit and tangerine, some bready doughy grains, caramel and toffee to a uch lesser extent in the background. Flavor is slightly grassy but still very good, citrus rind hoppiness, some bready grains, a slight touch of pepper from all the bitterness. Overall grainy and bitter but very nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy yellow orange color with a white head. Aroma was of citrus earthiness. This was a very flavor IIPA with a lot of grapefruit and a pretty big bitterness. Pretty easy to drink too. Not too sweet.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy orange with thick off-white head, lacing evident. Aroma obvious of citrus hops, pine, caramel, and grass. Flavor agrees with a slight herbal character to it. Pretty decent DIPA, wouldn’t definitely have again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 ounce bottle. Pours pale golden with a stiff white head. Nose is rich with pulpy citrus and pine. There’s just a bit of caramel malts. The hop flavor is more earthy and dirty with not a lot of malt character at all. Medium body and average carbonation. Wow. There’s quite a grapefruit finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Seriously bitter bite on the back end. Color was a murky orange with a bit of a white head. Aroma was all piny and good. The flavor was big and sweet, full caramel malt body. Then you get to the finish with all that grapefruit. Pretty enjoyable double here and I will probably hold on to this other one I have and try it next to a Devil Dog and see how that goes.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from the Boise Co-op. Pours a clear golden hue with a large sticky white head. The aroma is very hoppy; sweet citrus and pine, light caramel. The flavor is similar; lots of upfront bitterness, grapefruits, alcohol, light malts. Lots of very bitter grapefruit. Nice.
