A True Hop Bomb Brewed plenty of Columbus and Mt Hood Hops for a Piney hop character. Premium Pale, Honey and Munich Malt make this beer a little less malty but packing plenty of hop punch.

Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 08.16.14. A: Hop resin and red grapefruit. A: 2 finger head. See through amber/gold body. T: Hop resin, pineapple, and almost a bubblegum quality dominate. Flower, cracker, and honey are subtle. P: Creamy and crisp. Lip smacking mouthfeel. Perfect carbonation. O: This one is super resiny. I loved it. For 126.8 IBU, itís definitely hop forward but itís surprisingly not too much. The malt is there as balance, but itís not annoying. Pineapple flavor is there in force too. It really is a fantastic West Coast style IIPA. Pliny who?

22oz. bottle. Wonderfully big floral, citric and lightly sweet aroma, green and fresh with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, light brown sugar, spruce, faint bubblegum and blueberry. Clear, light golden amber color, head is lasting and leaves thick trails of lace behind. Flavor is nicely hopped from start to finish, with a punch of bitterness up front, fading to reveal lightly sweet malts, citrus, pine, mild alcohol and a slight herbal tinge. Finish is sharp, piney and shows a bit of lemon. Moderately oily, dry, well carbonated palate with a medium-full body. This took me by surprise as being one of the best IIPAs Iíve had recently.

22oz bottle. Pours semi clear amber with chunky off white head, leaves lots of beautiful spider lace. Nose is all citrus and subtle pine. Taste is caramel, grapefruit, pine, pear, orange. THis one is all about the hops, like an IIPA should be, not venturing into barleywine territory like too many IIPAs do these days. THis one is hops, hops, hops, and a nice profile of hops at that. Damn this is seriously under-rated likely because it is not heavy or high abv like sooo may IIPAís are. ABV and heavyiness be damned! Gimme hops and gime more hops...and this has hops..this is what a IIPA should be! Body is medium, alc is not noticable, meaning this one is chuggably dangerous!

22 oz Bottle into a conical pint glass Appearance is a clear golden amber. Fluffy head and excellent lacing. Aroma is mild citrus and pine. Unique and very appealing. Alcohol is present but not unpleasantly so. The malt fights its way through the hops but is largely hidden with just a wisp of fig and leather. The hops in this beer just have more fight. Taste is outstanding with robust pine and mild citrus. Atypical of the cookie cutter big Northwest IPAs that taste like a Florida Grapefruit farm. Not that I dislike those IPAs, itís just nice to have something more original. Oddly enough itís the malt that makes this one of a kind brew so palatable. Though seemingly subtle, and losing the battle for the nose, the malt is strong, making this ultra-hoppy beer very well balanced. Palate is full and pleasing. This is an outstanding beer. A big beer with its own ideas. World class

Smells excellent. Lots of hops. Looks good. The flavor has some malts and a lot of very very dry hops. Pretty tasty, but the overly dry finish brings it down a tad.

22 oz. bottle- Pours amber golden with a nice fluffy white head, aroma is of banana, grass, and hops. The flavor is not as bitter as I thought considering it comes in at 127 IBUís. I like this beer a lot, and towards the bottom of the glass it does get Alpha hoppy, hoppy holidays( itís close to Christmas).

One of the best imperial IPA examples on the market. Great smooth mouth feel. Excellent golden color, small white head. Smell is heavy grapefruit, palate is super dry. Love this one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
