Bomber. Hazy light orange pour with a white head. Huge floral hop nose and taste - super good. Little bit of grassy / dandelion element. Love this.

22oz bottle. Pours a dark golden color with foamy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, mostly floral with just a touch of citrus. Flavor is intensely bitter, this is a pure hop bomb. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. This is good, but I would have enjoyed this more with a bit more balance in the flavor.

Bright coppery amber color with a strong off white head. Bitter hops, citrus, punchy finish. Pine, grass, resin, and a bit of spice. Strong and full.

Bottle from Bethesda bottle shop. Pale amber body with no head. Nose is hoppy, citrus. Taste is also quite hoppy with spicy and lemon notes. Really nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle. Strange aroma of malt, flowers and car wax. Dark gold with pillowy head -a beauty in the sun. I taste malt, floral and pine hops, dandelion, honey, spice which I do not recognize, and, unfortunately, soap. . Cannot detect any alcohol (probably will in a few minutes). An odd duck of a beer.

A - Pours a mostly clear amber with a 2 finger sudsy head that retains well. S - Floral hops and sweetarts. Mango, papaya, sharp honey orange blossoms surround a clean pale malt along with hints of caramel and alcohol vapors. T - Tart candy flourishes bready malt with some zesty green floral hops making their presence the last half of the drink. The hops add a stingy bitterness that bites but disappears quickly and does not stick around after the finish. This is an extremely clean drinker. It’s green and clean! That should be the new slogan! The tart candy was fun but didn’t seem to round off with the malt. It’s a wacky DIPA which I like but it needs some refinement. Serving type: bottle 11-16-2010

It’s good, but it’s not great. With an IBU of 127, I expected more hops. But then again Hop Stoopid let me down and it 103 IBU. This does have, if you swish it around in your mouth, a lot of grapefruit sweetness going on. The aftertaste is nice, piney and drying. But not my favorite IPA. I’ve had better for less.

Hazy copper with half inch of creamy white head. Aroma of bright citrus, sour cherry that fades with the foam. In the mouth it gives off more of a grassy hop character, with cereal malt. Mouth puckering - slight sourness, noticeable astringency. Odd hop mix - doesn’t really have the big fruity punch you’d expect for the style. Malt character likewise subdued. Almost more of an imperial pilsner. Not entirely enjoyable.

From 22 oz bottle. Notes taken at the time of consumption. Cloudy orange color with tall foamy white head good lacing. Bit of a unique floral herbal aroma. Much like the aroma...herbal and floral taste. Not really my favorite DIPA. A little too rough around the edges.

650mL bottle to pint glass Sour apple, citrus, bread, and pine aromas. Clear amber with bubbly 1cm head and nice effervescence. Taste is peppery, a touch sweet, and bitter. Creamy, and medium bodied with an interesting astringency at the end.
