3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium orange with a large (2-3 finger) white cottony head that receded slowly, down to a few fluffy puddles and a medium collar with good sticky spotty lacing.
The aroma was on the mild side with a light grain malt, pine hops and an earthy yeast and had notes of caramel, honey and citrus (grapefruit and orange).
The taste was a malty bitter-sweet with hints of honey and caramel from the onset, but quickly became intensely hoppy with a strong citrus peel taste and a nice grapefruit presence at the end. The flavor lasted an average time proceeding the swallow, with a bold hoppy citrus taste left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a decent moderate to strong carbonation.
Overall not as bitter as I expected. Although it was nice and hoppy with a mild caramel sweetness mixed in, to put it simply it is a great Double IPA...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, medium amber (SRM 13) body....nose is light floral, with hints of pine from the hops, cereal, with sweet tones from the malts, minimal esters....taste is lead by caramelized honey sweetness, light cereal tones, leading to a strong floral dominated, with hints of resin, moderate bitter finish.....mouth feel, medium body, mildly sticky, slight alcohol warmth, carbonation makes a moderate tingle and very light acid on the finish. The floral notes, almost rose like, are present in both aroma and flavor, and are balanced by mildly sweet malts. The bitterness, which lingers, is not the typical American hop type dominated by resin, and citrus peel. I would prefer more hop complexity, and would suggest a change in the hops to include a slightly stronger pine, resin note perhaps Simcoe, Centennial, Cascade in type. BJCP 8/3/15/5/7

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at national beer hall Calgary where I used to live before they had good beer. Resinous aroma nice lacing. Much sweeter than the regular laughing dog IPA. Still had that cheese aroma which at this point I'm assuming has something to do with national beer hall. Nice double IPA while listening to Rudy can't fail by the clash.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased a 22 oz. bottle from Carls Meat Market, Kittery, ME. Bright hazy gold, lasting head in a snifter. Aroma has a good amount of citrus, yeast and mild pine.
The flavor starts with light pine, hints of earth wood. The citrus comes in with a small amount of bready malts. The bitterness has a lingering harshness. I almost feel like the time in the bottle helped this brew. If this was draft it maybe overly bitter. Lasting pine and herbal feels like it has subsided, which is a positive thing. Medium body leaning on the lighter side. Good balance at this point.
Overall feeling: I normally do not buy bottled DIPA’s anymore. I prefer to just sample them fresh on draft. I was in the mood for big hops and this delivered and met my expectations. Nicely made.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle foamed over after I opened it and continued to foam over.
Very carbonated, poured over when I poured a little into a glass, had to wait a few minutes for it to settle, add a little more, wait and now I have about two-thirds of a glass. The aroma is hops and a smell of Belgian yeast. The color is cloudy yellow orange, the head mostly diminishing with good lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is light to medium, the texture creamy the carbonation very fizzy and the finish bitter. Hopefully this is a bad bottle, not impressed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bomber: This one pours a clear, darker golden color. There was about a finger of off-white head on it that left minimal lacing. An interesting nose for a DIPA. It is a bit lighter than I would have expected. Earthy, musty and some floral notes. Sweet malts and some pine also. The taste is good. Not as bitter as I expected, but still a good bite. Lots of malts, minimal sweetness. Earthy, faint citrus. Good, but not quite up to sctartch with the rest of them.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well balanced and holds out on the non-pressure of cask. Pours orange with OK head and lacing. Aroma of light tangerine and some florals with evident booze. Medium bitter finish. Tap at Church key.
