ajm (459), Los Angeles, California, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle from Belmont. What a shot to the nose/teeth! Smells like potent peach jam! Tastes of the same with the added bonus of sour ale and lima beans. Just flat-out strange. Like no cream ale I have had. kmweaver (2273), Nicaragua Oct 31, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy, light peachy apricot color; white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Crisp aroma with some honey, oranges and light minerals; kind of like an orange creamsicle. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation; crisp mineral bitterness, citrus, and a touch of bready / toasty maltiness; crisp and slightly creamy presence in the mouth; drinkable cream ale, if a touch of overripe fruit. Medium finish: toasty malts, creaminess, and overripe oranges. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2008 8-18-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to ditmier <br />
Semi cloudy orangish yellow with a thin ff-white head. Smell is sugary sweet and honey and flowers. Flavor is sweet and juice like. High carbonation. It just reminds me of a carbonated juice. Not bad, just not really my thing. beerguy101 (3547), Newark, California, USA Oct 22, 2008 Sampled 10/21/2008. This Cream Ale pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from a 12 oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head with decent retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet with a touch of floral hops. A medium bodied cream ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. It has the kind of yeasty creamy mouthfeel. This is a very nicely done cream ale. Best cream ale I have had in long time. Light and refreshing. Crisp and clean. Good summer beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. improvjock (58), USA Sep 26, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head. Sour fruit in the aroma. Creamy and drinkable, smooth with a dry finish.
