COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Crème Ale is a traditional crème ale with both ale and lager yeast, this gives us the creamy smoothness of an ale with a nice dry crisp finish. The Creme Ale is great on hot summer days.

Bottle:Bubbly gold color with a white fizzy head. Aromas of butter, mild bread yeast, and light green veggies. The taste was much more complex that I was expecting - celery, spices like cumin or coriander (I get them mixed up), and light malts. It is a pleasant drink - nothing offensive about it.

Bottle Pours a slightly hazy light yellowish amber, witha frothy white head that is a bit coarse and fades fairly quickly leaving rather heavy shets of lacing. Aroma is a light grainy very slight hop notes. Flavor is a bit sweet, light cereal and honey. A bit of a papery taste and moderate body. Medium but seemingly balanced carbonation and the trailer is slightly woody and dry. Not bad. Thanks to Pinkzambia for bringing this one over.

Liked it good enough by the bottle to bring it into my restaurant and it’s way better on tap! I respectfully disagree skoisirius. Wow indeed. Coming from the land of Hale’s Cream Ale (nitro) this is a pleasant change. I’ve been happy to put down my usual pint of Stone IPA for this one until the keg blows. Met the Owner/Brewmaster Fred. Friendly enough fellow with some fine brews from right here in Idaho! Looking forward to the IPA on Tap! Bardenay Boise 610 Grove St.

Pours a darker golden colour with minimal lasting head. Aroma is yeasty with some malts. A tad sweet and simple but smooth and very drinkable. Some bready notes complement this beer as it goes down.

on tap at Slates Sandpoint, dark golden colour, somehat hoppy for a cream but after the first drink it is gone, nice white foamy head some lacing, easy drinking with a bit of sweetness but not overly so. good beer to style and easy to drink maybe if it were a tad dryer it would be better.

Decent, but not overly complex or tasty. Imagine that, its really creamy. Fresh baked bread maltiness. Nice and clean, easy to drink.

Bottle: Picked this up at Huckleberry’s in Spokane, WA. Pours a pellucid copper color, thick creamy white head and tons of lacing. The nose is light but contains a light fresh hop note and some sweet toasty malts, no husk to speak of, nice! The flavor is creamy (no pun) with a nice light fresh hoppiness and a full malty, biscuity body. Finishes long and drawn out, just the thing to quench the fire of the hot chihuahua. Could it be the premium australian malts? Who knows?!

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2006 A decent but not great cream ale from the Laughing Dog brewry. Moderately even all the way around, making nothing stand out in one particular area. If anything is present, it is a tiny hop bite near the end of the finish. Enjoyable, but nothing to "wow" about.

Bottle: Orange hued golden, translucent, moderate white foamy head, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   Pale malt nose, slightly grassy, a touch of mustiness.   Grainy start, grassiness is somewhat biting at first, but fades away quickly.   Has somewhat of a well rounded texture towards the end.   Remains malty throughout, low hop bitterness, picks up some straw flavors in the middle, and is actually quite dry on the finish.   Cream Ales aren’t really my thing, but I found this one to be pleasant.
