Our Crème Ale is a traditional crème ale with both ale and lager yeast, this gives us the creamy smoothness of an ale with a nice dry crisp finish. The Creme Ale is great on hot summer days.

Clear bright yellow beer, with a monsterous thick pure white head. Sort of eggy, peanut shell aroma to it. I find this typical of Cream Ales. Flavour is sweet, honeyish, corn, candy sugar..with a slight bitter end. Nice enough on the palate a touch silky but easy going down. Overall a nice light beer.

bottle thanks to ditmier. First beer from laughing dog brewing company. poured about 1/4 of the bottle into a mug and got about a 4.5 inch head. Looks like frothy soap bubbles. This whole encounter slowed me down a bit, but i took a swig or two from the bottle while i waited. Also had a few bites of my onion, mushroom, spinach, feta, egg scramble. Aroma is grass, corn, some pales malts, and a dash of skunkiness. I might be making this sound bad, but it was actually an interesting and enjoyable beer to drink. I was in the mood for a cream ale for some reason and this one hit the spot. This beer was definitely overcarbonated. Even when i pour the beer ever so gingerly i still get a big assed head. I guess this is the 4th best cream ale according to ratebeer. I haven’t had many cream ales so I’ll have to keep exploring. Thanks again eric for the bottle.

Thanks to Eric for the bottle! Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma was sweet with corn and pale malts supporting grassy and grainy hops.. soft and well-balanced. The flavor had honey, pale malts, and some creamed corn with dry grainy bitterness around.. sweeter on the finish with nothing memorable, but it was aiight. Lighter-bodied and grainier than it was creamy on the palate.. OK flow and balance.. entirely serviceable.

Hazed amber color with moderate off-white head. Aromas of creamed peas. Big DMS problem detected. Unfortunately the creamed peas and vegetables carry into the flavors. I found this unworthy of my time on vacation and found the lightly sour beverage rinsing out my sisters kitchen sink drain.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow body with a one inch fizzy white head. Tons of active carbonation. The nose is fairly light with doughy malt and touches of honey and a bit of graininess. The flavor has a good bit of maltiness for being such a light beer, bready and doughy with a bit of a carbonic bite because of all the carbonation. Finishes pretty crisp with a bit of grassy hops. A little clingy on the palate with a large amount if spritzy fizzy carbonation. This would be a bit improved and more drinkable if the carbonation level were halved. A nice take on the style though.

2009 Bottle - Pours a straw yellow with a small white head...aroma is sweet, malty and some fresh cut grain...flavour is bright and fruity, much more dry than the aroma would suggest, with a doughy backbone and very light bitterness...never been a fan of cream ales, but this was not bad...

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small yellow-white head. The aroma was sour, tangy, tart and fruity. The flavor was very tart, tangy and dry. The finish was long tart and tangy. Eh.

Clear gold with a good size white head that flees the scene. The lacings are very good for this style. Aroma is mild breads. Taste is bitter earthy hops with a good amount of sweet malts. I don’t know much about cream ales but this was a very nice beer. Kind of like a 50 / 50 lager and pale ale. Good dry bitter finish. I think you could drink this beer all night. Providing you like it as much as I do.

Bottle at nearbeer’s Spring Cleansin’. Pours hazy gold with thin white head. The aroma is strong corn husk, some spicy hops, and maybe a touch of pine. Flavor is tons of corn, some grain hull, and a little bit of disembodied bitterness. Decent, but so much corn.

12 oz. thanks to lithy for sharing this one. Honey, corn and grain aromas. Flavor is the same, with a bitter woody finish. Light-medium body is dry and tingly.
