Our Crème Ale is a traditional crème ale with both ale and lager yeast, this gives us the creamy smoothness of an ale with a nice dry crisp finish. The Creme Ale is great on hot summer days.

12-oz bottle received via trade with 5000. Pours hazy dark yellow with a large, rocky, white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw, meal), average hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of dust and paper. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Crisp, fresh and beautiful color. Lacey finish to the bottom of the glass. Holding it up to the window to check color is a soft delicate golden hue. This a hot day type of beer yet. However, it is a great ale for dinner.

Clouded gold with a decent head, good lacing. Fruity esters and yeast mustiness over a grainy tome in the aroma. Flavor is mild but pleasant, light fruityness, some earthiness, passive but adequate hopping...dry sour finish. Decent...but the Cream ale style is uniquely Canadian and I’ve yet to see a US Micro match the cream ales from Quebec.

12 oz bottle. Foggy brass with a white haze. Nose is pear, peach and vanilla yoghurt. Crisp with a lactic tang. Taste like the nose with bread and a squirt of citrus. Aftertaste a bit metallic and vegetal.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2008 Bottle, courtesy riversideAK. A nice copper pour, with a thick creamy white head and very sticky lacing. About as appetizing as a beer can look. Grainy malt aromas, with a slight hoppiness. Raisin and caramel are distant. Subdued overall. Flavor packs a great punch. Hops and malts work together in perfect harmony. Subtle caramel and molasses feels light and delicious. Watery body, extremely easy to drink. Very balanced and crisp, enjoyable at any time. Pleasantly surprised with this one, wish I could get a sixer every week.

Sample tray. Light gold. Soft white head. Light malt scent with a hint of vanilla. Fizzy, almost foamy mouth feel. Bit of hops, soap and just a touch of vanilla in the flavour. Woody bitterness in the finish.
