3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (5836) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 12, 2009
Thanks to Eric for the bottle! Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma was sweet with corn and pale malts supporting grassy and grainy hops.. soft and well-balanced. The flavor had honey, pale malts, and some creamed corn with dry grainy bitterness around.. sweeter on the finish with nothing memorable, but it was aiight. Lighter-bodied and grainier than it was creamy on the palate.. OK flow and balance.. entirely serviceable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAY 6, 2006
Bottle: Picked this up at Huckleberry’s in Spokane, WA. Pours a pellucid copper color, thick creamy white head and tons of lacing. The nose is light but contains a light fresh hop note and some sweet toasty malts, no husk to speak of, nice! The flavor is creamy (no pun) with a nice light fresh hoppiness and a full malty, biscuity body. Finishes long and drawn out, just the thing to quench the fire of the hot chihuahua. Could it be the premium australian malts? Who knows?!
