Ralphie (14), Post Falls, Idaho, USA Jul 13, 2007 On tap in Sandpoint, the huckleberries just burst from The Glass making me think it may be too sweet but its is not,Just well balenced with the rest of the brew It is a cool refreshing beer BJP2006 (20), Washington, USA Jul 3, 2006 On tap at the brewery, visited on saturday7-1-06 and got to talk to the brewer Fred Colby. Verry light golden color pours a bright white head with an intense berry aroma thought oh my this will be syrupy sweet but pleasently surprised its not. they modified the hops in the creme ale to showcased the berrys ( according to Fred the brewer). head dissapated after about 3 swallows but lacing hung around ,nice beer taste followed by a light berry aftertaste, verry light and refreshing beer I like this one for a friut beer but as I have said i like this brewery. kitschy (129), Nebraska, USA May 31, 2008 wow! delicious! where has the huckleberry been all my life? Sweet and delicious, taste is akin to blueberry, but more... foresty? there are hops in this beer, in a way that compliments the berries. the palate is wonderfully smooth. one bottle filled three glasses because of the huge head... I’d say don’t store these real long or they might blow. Acknud (626), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Apr 20, 2008 Updated: May 13, 2008Aroma is fantastic. Berries, berries, berries. Pours a dark yellow. Taste has berries a a nice finishing hop. BrewDad (1711), Olympia, Washington, USA Jun 18, 2007 2007 - Washington Brewers Festival – Kenmore WA<br />
A light purple in color with thin purple head. Liked the aroma with a waft of fruity huckleberries lingering. The flavor was that of a nice fruit beer A great beer with the right amount of fruit added. The beer was refreshing and great and a true treasure to find. Great stuff.
