Great looking beer, bu7t thatís about it. Sparklnig amber, large rocky beige head, tight bead. Light cat pissy hop nose.
Water start, odd bitterness in finish. Has great lace, but is thin and had no balance. Poor effort

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A nice basic IPA. Clear copper colour with a light, earthy hop, and pine aroma. Light to medium bodied with a creamy texture, featuring a caramel malt body and underlying earthy hop flavours. Drier finishes makes this an easy to drink IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle into a Shaker glass. Pours a light orange with golden hints with a foamy white head. Aroma brings a fairly piney with a bit of flowery zest to it. A small amount of malt is present on the nose. The taste brings a lot of the same...starts with straightforward pine hop with a bit of citrus. Malts then come in during the body and have a bit of sweet caramel notes to them. Ending with a softer bitter note than I thought, I was fairly impressed. A good, easy, solid example of a Northwestern IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This IPA pours a medium orange color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white rocky foamy head. Aroma is floral and piney hops, fairly juicy. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are citrusy and piney. The beer is nowhere near as bitter tasting as one you expect from the aroma. Very un-PNW like IPA. The bitterness is toned down, its still there mind you just not as a kick in the teeth as one would expect. Good balance. Nice carbonation. A very drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Bottle:Clear copper color with sticky lacing pasted all over the glass. It has a wonderful hop aromas of celery, grass and pine. The taste is green grass, junipers and a good amount of bitterness. The finish is dry and enjoyable for those looking for a bitter brew. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On Tap: amber color with a white head and good lacing. Taste is a simple blend of hops, citrus, florals, and malts. Nothing spectacular here, but a solid IPA nonetheless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On Tap a the first anual Old Boise Brewers Fest. Nice medium amber color, slightly hazy, with a nice dense but thin off white head. Rather sharp hoppy aroma, citrusy and of light malts. Flavor was clean, simple and nice and bitter. Lots of hop flavor and puckering bitterness. Body was moderate to a bit light and it left a nice ligering bite. A good "session" IPA

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden amber body with a smallish creamy white head. Muted orange citrus and very mild resin. Pleasant mild bitterness, light caramel malt. Average palate. Nice but a bit mild for me, and strikes me as more of a hoppy pale ale than an IPA. Bottle courtesy of Larry Pitonka.
