COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA has an Intense hop aroma and strong malt body, followed by a smooth clean finish. Pacific Northwest malted barley with hops from the fields of Yakima have come together to create this IPA that is very hoppy but very balanced with complex malt flavors. The IPA is best served cool, not ice cold so as not to subdue the hop aroma. The perfect beer for any day.

Nice mild IPA, hops not overdone. A little it of tang and bitterness in this amber bodied beer. Minimal soapy head, malt and hops blend well in the aroma, hops come forward in the taste. Bitter lingers on the tongue.

12oz can thanks to boisebeerguy, thanks! Pours a clear light copper with a thin white head and spotty lacing, aroma is pretty dank with quite a bit of citrus and tropical fruit, the flavor has a sharp hop front end with a sweet but hoppy finish at the same time, pretty sticky and thick, bitterness in the finish isnít completely balanced and I would have liked to see a little more citrus and tropical fruit flavors instead of just straight bitter.

Rating #922 - January 17, 2014 - 6pack of 341ml Bottles from Sobeys. Aroma is grassy, lemon, pine, pepper. Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head, decent retention. Medium carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. Smooth mouthfeel, lots of grassy, spicy hops on the palate but very well balanced, citrusy sweetness of grapefruit meets a sharp dry-hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Served in a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle. Very tasty India Pale! Poured hazy golden with about a 2 finger of off white creamy head. Lots of carbonation bubbles coming from the bottom. The smell was instant pine and citrus...very hop forward on the nose. Taste was floral, citrus and bitter hops up front soon followed by a mild malt sweetness. Lots of oily hop resin and stickiness on the palate. Overall I would say this was a fantastic representation of a well crafted IPA. Great offering from Laughing Dog...will definitely buy this again!

Picked this 12oz can at the COOP a couple days ago.. Pours with a decent white head that shows okay lacing atop a clear golden brew. Nose is nicely hopped... tropical fruitiness and onion/garlic.. weird combination but the allium notes are not overblown. Good hoppy bitterness that is balanced barely by a decent amount of residual pale maltiness... Not a big fan of the onion/garlic hops but they work in this stretch and arenít overdone. Body is light/medium... carbonation could be a touch higher IMO.

This seemed like a well balanced and classy IPA. And it gets to the point where there is very little to distinguish between all of these craft-brewed IPAs. There are so many of them and most of them are quite good. I would have rated this one a little higher but there remained a slight off-putting note in the finish. I really couldnít tell what it was. Cardboardish? Stale?

Serving: Draft. It pours a light amber color with a white head. Fruity nose with a light maltiness and pine. Well balanced bitterness in the flavor. Malt, light caramel, pine, and apple notes. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent.

Pours a clear orangish gold with a frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, pine, fruity esters and some sweet pale malts. Taste is grapefruit, pine and the bitterness is a bit astringent on the finish. Overall this is a big hoppy ipa which some may like but itís all about balance in my books.
