kenb (959), Oregon, USA Nov 1, 2008 12 oz bottle via Bridgeview. Pours a hazy amber with a massive chunky beige head. Nose is some subtle floral/herbal hops and sourness. Taste is sour funk......totally infected. Down the drian she goes. Laughing dog seems to have an infection issue as the two dogzillas i got were also infected :( Taverner (517), San Ramon, California, USA Sep 25, 2008 Bomber from Bottleworks. Nice bitter and sweet malt balanced with a decent floral hop profile. Lots of grapefruit notes in this one. Grassy and floral. Pours amber with biscuit head. Flavor has some lingering pine notes in the finish. anders37 (2834), Malmö, Sweden Sep 6, 2008 Cask @ WABF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some floral hints. Fruity malty hoppy grapefruit flavor with some floral hints. Fruity malty bitter hoppy finish. after4ever (1925), Brier, Washington, USA Sep 1, 2008 22. Pours crystal clear but very dark amber with a towering, fluffy, platinum blonde head. Big woody nose; spent grain’s there, too. Cheerios-esque for sure. Nice medium body. Refreshing; nothing sticky or oily or even creamy about it. Woody, resiny, piney mid-palate with biscuit and crackers there as well. Pretty far away from the bright and fruity side of the IPA world, and very tough-minded and well-made. Nice refreshing, delicious little beer. SDbruboy (1822), San Diego, California, USA Aug 16, 2008 22 oz bottle, from "By the Bottle" bottle shop in Vancouver, WA. Pours deep pecan amber with a creamy off-white head that lingers nicely and leaves ample lace. Aroma is fruity, earthy and floral with caramel and toffee present as well. Flavor is rich and malty, with more caramel and an over ripe, almost souring summer fruit character, citrus and piney hops as well. Medium to full body, gentle carbonation. Not bad.
