3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 nearbeer (2659) - Knoxville, USA - APR 27, 2010
12 oz. Clear, burnt orange with a lasting half inch of creamy foam. Big nose of butterscotch. Front flavor is (diacetyl?) butterscotch, marshmallow and light banana, quickly turning to enough resin and zesty citrus to make an interesting and balanced brew. I am normally not a big fan of butterscotch, but this is well done, intentionally or not. Creamy smooth body is light-medium and finishes just dry enough. Maltier than most American IPAs, but still lots of hop on the finish. Maybe an older bottle, but I couldn’t find a date stamp anywhere.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 heemer77 (4801) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Bottle. This pours with a slightly hazy rich amber hue. Grapefruit and peanuts make up the smell. There is also some hay. This tastes of peanuts and oranges at the front. The finish has a little bit of grass and tobacco. There is an ever present spice in each sip, like a hint of black pepper. This is a nice and well balanced IPA. It is not bracing bitter west coast as I expected, but rather a little sweet overall with malt. A tasty brew.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MmmcKay (894) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Solid IPA. The label looks kind of stupid and cheap. The beer is also too expensive. $12.99 or so for a 6 pack. Better choices out there for less. Still this is a dry IPA with good bitterness. Clean and crisp. A bit lacking in complexity but there is nothing wrong with the flavor either. Good beer but not great.

355ml Bottle. Pours a nice golden orange. Rich hoppy aroma, smooth and balanced from start to finish. I poured this after a short (3 hr) road trip and the timing was perfect. Very drinkable.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear amber with a large white head. Soft hops, toast and bread on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet, light citrus and grain. Toast. Long bitterness.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1699) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 6, 2012
review from mid late early summer fall winter of 2011. stupid notes on iphone. lovely review i got here: hazy orangy amber brew wit ha nice compact off white cap that left average lacing, aroma says: pine, rrgf, caramel, light roast? and spice (pepper maybe). Tasted flavours on the mouth organ: toasted malts with lesser caramel, pine knives, nectarines I think, sweetness that has no discerning fruit that stands out. Good bubbles, hella bite, long bitter ending. Fresh would have been nice. I added in the punctuation to make this review as exciting for you as it was for me.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 reebtogi (2197) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 20, 2011
355ml bottle pours a golden orangey color with a finger of white head which leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Pleasing aroma of pine and citrusy hops and a trace of toasted malts. Taste is dominated by the bitterness of the hops and has some balance with a malty sweet backbone. Medium body and medium carbonation provide a nice tingle on the tongue. This is a hoppy but still pleasing and very drinkable IPA.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cirrhosis (932) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 2, 2011
Thank you Adrian for the brew!!!! Peachy pine big hop aroma, caramel, orange, more stuff. Nice and malty good balance with the hop. I don’t know why but I’m finding the carbonation perfect here, what an odd thing to like. I love the malts they be roasted to perfection, sweet, smooth but then the hops kick in and they be bitter, perfect balance. Pine, orange, wood, I’m picking up this weird chocolate. Wow i can drink this all night. The lingering bitter is killing me!!! WOW!!! What a good IPA! This has regular in the fridge written all over it.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 patricks110 (917) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 14, 2011
Forgotten rating from June 2011.
The pour is a bright copper-orange with a finger of beige head and good lacing. The nose is hop forward with prominent notes of grapfruit and light herbal pine. The malts are of sweet caramel and light bread. In the middle there is a good maltiness with a sweet grapefruit tang. The finish has a big hop that drys the palate out for a while. A great hop bomb session brew.
